Spatial Load Forecasting
JPalmer.ca > Spatial Load Forecasting

Electric load forecasting a prediction of future electrical needs. It considers when the load will occur, where it will occur, and the magnitude of the load.

Load forecasting is the foundation of any electric utility plan. Planning is the foundation of any design. Load forecasting gives the overall direction of the utility's decisions today.

The purpose of forecasting is to help planners and engineers build optimal upgrades at the best time and in the best location. This ultimately benefits the utility, the ratepayers, and the entire community.

Spatial load forecasting is relevant to all utilities including: transportation, water, sewer, communications, and electric. Primary Engineering specializes in electrical utilities.
